Hey, Hube...

Thanks for stopping by. I was actually hoping you would provide some perspective on the Times article. I wasn't hanging that out there as a state of the union piece. I almost added, "I wonder what Hube has to say about this?" at the end of the post.

There were a couple of things that caught my eye about the article. One was, of course, the reasons for leaving, and I would think there are things implied within the "school bureaucracy" dealing more with student relations that would drive me up the freaking wall. The other thing I noticed was where the article mentioned that school districts are expanding their recruitment beyond the academic arena to professional career fields, where experts in math, science and other subjects are being trained to teach.

That information would have been more accessible had I remembered to hot-link the article. This caffeine-free life is really catching up with me.
