Comments: Shifting Gears

One thing that might be good to do (since I'll be checking in every evening regardless) is maybe go through you cache of interesting photos and set 'em up to trickle post. Make it a daily caption contest! You can make a week's worth of posts in a short time. Just a thought.

I get where you're coming from Ted, I put the blog on the back burner the last while because I have more important things to take care of. Plus I was blogging all the time at work and I think it was screwing with my productivity (think?).

Take it easy, and focus on your important things.

Oh yeah, and running is in NO way fun, those f@#$ers were all lying.

Happy Thanksgiving, Ted!

Hey Ted! Just thought I would drop by and say hello.Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.Went great here.Plus,I gotta say that I know where yer coming from in trying to juggle too much. The four Yahoo groups I watch over is like running a full time day care center as it is.Between moderating cat fights and writing articles and commentaries it's a full time job in itself. That's not to mention things I'm trying to get done here, for someone else, plus model building.A plastic tug model,a 69 Super Bee and five model rockets all going at the same time.I feel yer pain but remember rockets are THE priority!LOL!
Also, you mentioned star cards. That reminds me that I watched the old Veronica Lake movie the other night called I Married a Witch on TCM.It's been since the early to mid 80's since I saw her in a movie. Now I remember why I liked her so much.Yowza!Damb that gal is was spunky! What I can't understand is why no-one liked her as an actress.I've seen much much worse.Too bad that Paramount had to dump all over her career by first making her a big star then turning around and billing her in every sucky script movie they had just to try and save it.No wonder she turned to booze!
Well anyway I just wanted to rant for a second.Take car and hope to see ya on the 3rd.

One does what one must do--I'll still be checking in daily!

Ya do whats ya gots ta do, Ted. I know how it is, trust me. I've backed off on my blogging by an order of magnitude because family stuff has consumed almost any time I have for anything more than the occasional comment. And given what bits you've revealed to us, it goes without saying that you've got some major difficulties taking place and probably make my troubles seem insignificant by comparison--so the fact that you've put as much time into blogging as you have is heroic. But even heroes need a break, hon.

Go, be with your family. Slay dragons and rescue preincesses, be a devoted husband to your ailing wife and a pillar of strength to your children, show the world that it doesn't take a silly electronic site to define your personality. The blog--and all of your faithful readers--will still be here when you get back. *Hug!*
