This is why Clone is not allowed into the Kitchen.

Oh, man! It's too bad you can't put a forcefield around the counters....

I remember when my girls were like 1 1/2 and 3 and into EVERYTHING. Hubby came home to discover that I had installed hook & eye latches on every door in the house about an inch and a half from the top of the door jam. High enough to thwart even a toddler on a stool....

Busy, busy days. :)

Oh yeah... amazing. My son pushes a chair over to the sink when he gets a chance, because he likes to splash. Gaaah! Making dinner is definitely a challenge some days!

We have the same issues at our house. We just need to be ever vigilant.

Actually, toasted hotpads - like everything else - are quite tasty with enough tabasco sauce on them :-)

kitchen joy is such fun - our sons first word was hot because I used to shout it at him when he approached the kitchen... I invite him to cook with me and he seems to be only interested when invited - of course I'm sure all hell is about to break lose on us now, as our second baby is due to show up here in the next few weeks and we expect his good hearted nature to forever change -

great blog, btw - first time visitor - decided to check out all the parenting blogs that were up for awards - always looking for someone fun to read
