Comments: Willie Nelson, Dan Rather, and Bach

Hi John,

Thanks so much for the links to my little backwater of the blogosphere, as well as the compliments. Thanks also for the links to the articles agreeing with my suspicions about the Toccata and Fugue in d-minor: I had no earthly idea there was so much good evidence supporting my hypothesis. I'm no musicologist, but I've analyzed enough of JS' music over the years to have a fairly good idea of his stylistic dos and don'ts. I just belatedlty discovered Wikipedia recently, and it's a good resource, but I understand its open nature makes fact-checking it a good idea.

Cheers!

George

It may have been written for the piano-forte.
But to anyone who has heard the ELP version, it is magnificent on an organ. (especially played by a certified lunatic)
