Comments: Unplanned hiatus

Sorry to hear about this...sounds like you'd be completely justified in filing an unemployment claim. He'll have a tough time drumming up new business when all the print jobs suck.

Exactly. One of the things NewGuy said to me was that he hates Multigraphics presses. He is convinced that they can't do good work. He is wrong and that'll be a hinderance to him doing good work with them.

That just sucks.

If the car transfer is within family, there may be no re-registration fee. Check on it. It worked for my brother here in California, and someone originally from an east coast state told me first.

Yep, I checked on it already. Immediate family does NOT include first cousins. At least, not in Connecticut. Thank you thank you thank you for that thought.

Aw, man. I'm sorry, TS. I wish I could help in some way but I got nothing to offer -- no leads and no expertise in CT law. So, I offer my sincere sympathy at the raw deal you got and my best hopes for good luck around the next corner.

Sorry to hear the news...and I agree with Jennifer that the boss man will have trouble getting additional work if the newbie keeps botching things up this way. Check out for job covers the nation for media-type jobs (I think presswork might be listed there). I don't know what part of CT you are in, but sometimes I see listings for the Stamford area. Good luck!
