Comments: Stupid Versus Evil

When does stupidity shade over into evil? Well, here is an essay that touches on that question:

Enlightening, yes?

" where does "stupid" cross the line into being just as dangerous as "evil"? "

Great question. IMHO Stupidity is not sinful, but ignorance for lack of effort or education is.

However you didn’t ask about the moral aspect though, you asked about when it is equally dangerous - and that of course is dependent on the specific subject - and since you rightly brought it to the RKBA I am afraid right along with you.

Although not affiliated with any specific political party (on purpose) I can see how and more importantly WHY one would be afraid at this point.
The misgivings I had when Bush was elected have far exceeded even what I expected out of a second generation savant...I mean president.
It really sucks when your own compadres are starting to deny knowing you (so to speak) God help us all....PLEASE!!!

There's just one slight problem:

Who else are you gonna vote for?

Disappointing, to say the least.

At sixty, I've lived thru 4 decades of a steep slide to the left. No Republican starting with Ike has ever reversed the statism begun by FDR and expanded by the Dims whenever they had the power.

I've been hoping since Reagan that we would see Republicans act like conservatives...but that has never happened. There is functionally no difference between the current crop of R's and the D's of 40 years ago. I thought that being at war might wake people up, but I can't even get my own children to admit we are at war.

I have no sympathy for Bush...he made his own bed, but is it so hard for people to see that America got where it is today by paths unique to America...not by following trails blazed by Europe.

Bleh! A pox on both their houses.
