Comments: And Now It is Time For Another Exciting Adventure

About those Enid Blyton's, I can't find 'em anywhere. Told an online friend in Scotland. Imagine, telling her that and she actually sent me #3 and #4 of that series.

If you've not read those two, I'll lend them to you when we're done. Gladly!

I want to get my hands on those other Enid Blyton's...the ones all those Brits talk about. The series' name escapes me, but I'll find them.

I thought the Brits mostly talked about The Famous Five. It was made into a TV series. Our library has several of another of her series -- The Secret Seven, so we've been reading a few of those. I don't like them quite as well as The Famous Five. There is more fighting among the characters and they just don't seem quite as fun.

You can get most, if not all, of the Famous Five books from Amazon. I just ordered a couple.

I'll have to look out for them! The Great Brain series is my favorite boy series for that age group.

How about the Little House series?

Also the Black Stallion series is nice.

The Little House series is what I'm reading them for bed time. We're reading On the Banks of Plum Creek.

Have you read any of the boxcar children? Forget the author's name though.
