It is no surprise that you seem to be encountering so many cars while jogging. Cars are coming through intersections and in and out of driveways all day long. When you are driving through your community at 25mph, you aren't on the road very long, so you don't encounter so many cars. But when you are jogging at 5mph, you will see 5x as many cars since you are on the road 5x as much time.

Furthermore, when you are driving, the car pulling out of the driveway is obliged to yield to you, so you might not notice it at all.

I see what you mean, but it amazes me how the cars always get to the end of the driveway or intersection at the precise moment of my arrival there!

They're just trying to beat you there because they'd rather you wait than wait themselves. Sometimes I think that entering a vehicle makes a person's common sense IQ evaporate. I'm probably guilty too, though.

You really think that was a good call? Really? Wow. I'm wondering if we were watching the same game. I know Wynalda supported the call but he's a former forward and unsurprisingly favors the forwards in all calls.

Did you see them interview Bruce Arena? That was rather lively. I thought Wynalda was going to blow a gasket after Arena took a shot at the 98 team.
