Comments: Quote For The Day

Good post. I wish there weren't so many signs that WM is losing their focus.

I DO NOT shop at walmart anymore...we have saved lots of money, get much better service elsewhere and because walmart is backing/pushing/wanting NAIS (nonais.org) which will make it impossible for me to have my horses, I am certainly not giving them any of my hard earned $$$. (HOW would YOU like to register your premises (currently sex offenders are required to do so) and file reports with the govt everywhere you take YOUR private property (bike, skates, boat, golf clubs, etc then risk losing them because someone else's bike/skates/boat/golf clubs might be have been exposed to a disease?) That is what it will be like with those who own even one chicken or pet potbelly pig!

Susan, you have just touched the critical point. You have the absolute freedom to NOT shop at WalMart. It is entirely your choice.

My family does not shop at Kohls, even though I hear they have nice clothes and good prices (I don't know, I've never - and will never - set foot in one). The elder Kohl is a politician with which I have a particular beef, and my best revenge is to not shop at his store.

To the best of my knoowledge Herb sold off his interest in the department stores some time ago, along with the grocery business which is now strictly wholesale. What you want to do is to avoid watching the Milwaukee Bucks basketball team, which he does still own.
