Siblings have a special dynamic, indeed.
Glad you made it home safely. Cheers!

As the eldest of 5 sisters, I know what ya mean, but the wanting to strangle part seems to be 75% of the time. Or is it just because we're all female.........

Eric,
I seem to be stuck in strangle mode with my sibs these days.

Glad y'all are having fun!

As the youngest of 8, I was usually on the receiving end of the stranglings, since shit rolls downhill :-/

That's why I like to drive into the US first, then fly out of Bangor, making it a domestic flight. Little too far for your bro-in-law though, he'd have to hop a boat. :)

Hope you guys have a wonderful visit.

I had heard it had gotten quit ugly getting through customs and I think the whole 'liquid' thing didn't make the situation any better.

Sibling love - there's nothing quite like it. It puts the "fun" in dysfunction... ;-)

I stand around looking lost for 8 hours every weekday. It's called my job.

The time spent at customs varies depending on the airport & time of arrival. In Newark & NYC its around 1hr between 8:00am & 6:00pm. Afterhours you can expect to wait on very long slow moving lines. my longest wait ever was 2.5hrs in Detroit. Not fun!
