I get it. And that's the best blogging tip you ever gave me.

BUT, you better not stand Mo and I up Monday night ;-)

I can't say that I wouldn't miss your blog and wit, however, as long as I know your email addy, I am OK.

Do what suits you, we'll understand.

Definitely understand. Do what is right for you.

I'm just under a tremendous amount of stress here. At the end of the day, I'm not in the mood to reflect and write. I'm in the mood to sleep and forget most of it. I'm not laughing about it anymore and I have not much desire to recollect anything.

I sit here sometimes and think, "Crap. Now I have to frickin' WRITE on top of everything?"

but I don't. I don't get paid for it. I could never be a real writer... someone who is published. I would start to hate it... the thought that the daily column was due and I didn't have anything to put to paper. Then again, if someone is paid enough, perhaps that is not an issue.

Until 1 April though, I will continue to live in this crucible, of my own making, and so blogging may be light or non-existent because I'm in survival mode.

If people pay attention, truly pay attention here, they will have noticed that my writing has become much less prolific over the months.

we shall see. Its an ingrained habit. I suspect it will not totally go away, as I do have posts in my head, but it will not be like it was, where I just feel the need to 'write and write and write'. Other than the stress... I'm in a good place in my life... very peaceful, and I write the most typically during great inner angst. This stress is external forces... not internal.

Your #1 priority is always the flight attendants say, you have to put on your oxygen mask before helping others. Take care of yourself and your family...'cause if Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. I'd definitely miss you (you're my blog-mamma after all), but blogging is mostly for venting or for fun. Otherwise, it's an obligation. And Moms have plenty of those already.

Well, I would certainly miss your blog. But to echo others, do what is best for you. If it does go dark here, just remember, you don't need a blog to remain blogfriends! I'm glad to call you one of those!

Will I ever hear from you again?

At TN, not you, Bou...

Of course we will all miss your writing, but you can always come to blodgemeets to make up for it.

You should never feel obligated to do this blog stuff. I do it as an outlet. Well, I also do it to piss people off, but that's the kind of guy I am.

Just be aware that there are a whole bunch of us out here who care a lot about you and enjoy your writing. Some of us have even been lucky enough to meet you, Bones, Ringo, Mr. T, and Mo, and are hoping someday to meet TGOO and your mother.

You and your family come first! Always. When writing a post is not fun or relaxing then perhaps a change is needed. I have soooo missed your posts but can relate to the lurking and reading. So hang in there and take care of yourself.
