Comments: "Truth"

The words "truth" and "lie" have been stretched to the breaking point in the last few years. Remember Dan Rather talking about "fake but accurate"? What about the "lies" that got us into a war in Iraq. Making a mistake is a lie if you're a Republican but outright lying for personal gain is about a larger "truth" if you're Dan Rather or a stripper.

Where does Karl Rove fit into this picture??? How about Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton? And now we have Dick Cheney, a man who has lost his way? Let us be more careful in our choices next time, and vote based on principles, not on partisan political considerations!

Whether they like it or not, the truth "will always remain out of reach" for the editors of the DN. They just happen to not agree with it.
