Comments: Oh, Yeah?!

Believe it or not, I've seen that show before. Not sure where, maybe Okinawa since we had to rent everything we wanted to watch. But I do remember Martha Raye for some reason...scary.

As for my mom....I'm not sure they had a TV. Seriously. They didn't even have indoor plumbing. I saw the outhouse they used.

But I will ask Bridget ;-)

That's not nearly violent or profane enough for contemporary kids' shows.

And those Bugaloo's were very cute!! Thanks for the memory!

And I'm too old. I never saw it.

I don't remember the Bugaloos, but Land of the Lost was my favorite.

Good God. What the hell was that? I guess I'm just too damn old. There's another damn song I won't be able to get out of my head.

Ah, I did watch Land of the Lost. I should go to You Tube and look that up!

No comment. I'm older than you. ;-)

Goodness, that show was originally shown during my Senior year in High School (09/12/1970-01/02/1971). No way I had time for it.

LOL! I loved Land of the Lost, Batman and Robin, Speed Racer and Lost in Space. Thanks for the memories.

.... I honestly have no idea what you are talking about... Bugaloos?..... they sound like a particularly nasty public restroom on a Welsh fenn somewhere......

I'm the same age as Bou, give or take a week, but I can't remember this show at all. I was living in Georgia at the time...maybe it didn't play there. But Land of the Lost was my absolute favorite. We showed a clip of it to my kids the other day, and died laughing at their expressions. SFX have come a long way since then!

You are all just kids..I remember Howdy Doody and Cowboy Bob and some kid show about a goose as well as all those 1930's cartoon on TV on Saturday Morning

I know ALL the shows you mentioned.
I'm pretty sure someone was smoking something when each one was created.

And for the record:
I made my boss sing the Bugaloos theme song before I agreed to work for him.

Never liked this one, but I do remember wondering where they got a black guy with an English accent. I didn't know they HAD black people over there.

I reckon we are roughly the same age, and I grew up in Atlanta. Did you ever make it to the "World of Sid and Marty Krofft" at what is now the CNN Center? I was somewhat too old to really get into it at the time, but it was quite interesting (especially the looooong escalator ride to the entrance, longer even than the one at the downtown Davidson's!).

Going even further back - remember the "Popeye Club" on WSB with Officer Don?
