It was a privilege and an honor to have been able to meet with you...thank you for taking the time to step off of your whirlwind to meet us!

I am blessed with two of the best sons that anyone could ever want. Both have grown into first class men.

Ten years ago, we went to China to adopt our first daughter. Six years ago we went back and adopted another daughter. They are different. In most cases wonderfully so.

For instance, my sons were always happy to see me when I got home from work, and we'd often go outside and play, run, ride bikes and so forth. Great fun!

One remarkable difference is how a daughter expressed her affection for her Daddy. I will always remember the day that I drug up from an especially tough day at work. My older daughter, about seven at the time, climbed into my lap while I was recovering my bearings while seated at the kitchen table. She wrapped her arms around my neck and said, "Daddy, I just love you so much, I could just hold you forever."

At that point, you ask yourself "What kind of day did I have after all??"

One of the differences. :)

Mrs. Who... truly the pleasure was all mine. I had so much fun. Thank God for the rain!

Gabby- Oh my husband would have loved that. I think he really wanted a little girl. Deep down. A Daddy's girl.

Aggghh! I was so frustrated to have missed this little get-together. Your boys are a pleasure - as are you, of course!
