"The AFL-CIO is hyping Olbermann's new gig at the debate. Surprise." ==> Felix

So the AFL-CIO is some kind of an evil entity, right Felix? It is only to a wingnut.

On Limbaugh, intellectually he can't hold a candle to Olbermann, in my view. Therefore, I don't think Limbaugh would agree to host a debate if offered -- he knows better than to expose himself in that manner. Limbaugh needs crutches. Moreover, I doubt it would be offered, due to his obvious flaws.

Now what would be interesting would be to have an Olbermann v Limbaugh debate. Limbaugh wouldn't sign on to that either.

Well, if PHood says it, obviously it must be true.

Actually, Perry, talk radio would probably be good preparation for a debate. When someone calls in, you can't be certain how the call will go, even with screeners. I imagine it takes a lot of thinking on one's feet. And of course, the big name talk shows like Rush last three hours -- that's a lot of time to fill with entertaining commentary, especially when doing it five days a week.

This sounds more intellectually rigorous than, say, sitting in front of a teleprompter reading what passes for leftist wit on MSNBC.
