After reading that piece, I have to wonder if I slept through the coup and the establishment of a military junta.

But I am heartened by this little tidbit: I am 46 and have never voted, and probably never will.

I'm curious -- is it that he chooses not to vote, or that he has been adjudicated mentally incompetent by a court?

You don't know what Dalene means by military control? He is referring to the outlaws we now have in the Executive Branch, exemplified by AG Gonzalez, who has lied so much now that he cannot even remember his own lies. Only incompetence could ever retain incompetence; Gonzalez has enabled us to have one more peek. The military operates according to its own version of the law, called the military code of uniform justice. The Bush administration operates in a similar fashion. This illegal unbalancing of the balance of powers is of great concern to me.

Anyone who conflates this already ridiculous statement with "military control" is even dopier than Dalene.

Oops, sorry Perry. Not really.
