Comments: Liberals in a [racial] bind again

Its fairly straightforward why liberals support majority-minority voting districts and not majority-minority school feeder patterns. Minorities have been traditional politically disenfranchised, in order to provide them with a substantial political voice in the chambers of government, majority-minority districts are created. With schools, since majority minority schools are more likely to be underfunded, we try to avoid the whole situation and integrate schools as much as possible.

Of course, don't tell that to "underfunded" districts like Washington DC. Or Kansas City.

And regarding political districts, essentially you (and liberals) believe that blacks cannot represent anyone other than themselves, hence the need for ridiculously sized gerrymandered race-based voting districts.

You know, Jamelle, I'd have a lot more respect for you and other such liberals if you'd just come out and point-blank say that it should be codified into law that black Americans should be afforded [limited time] special consideration in certain realms based on past injustices instead of the rhetorical and legal mumbo jumbo you go through trying to convince everyone how such things like these districts don't violate myriad laws and the Constitution itself.
