Comments: We win! UPDATED!

Rain check, but yeah, I hear ya.

I only wish it hadn't been 5-4.

It doesn't matter, they ruled, and we won. It would have been more satisfactory if it had bee 9-0, but I'll take what I can get!

“Then, why don’t we do away with the court system and go back to the Old West? You have a gun and I have a gun and we’ll settle in the streets."

Hey, King Richard.... that's what's going on in your city RIGHT. NOW! Not with your LAW ABIDING citizens (who can't own guns - yet), but with your THUGS! Who get their guns I.L.L.E.G.A.L.L.Y!

Why can't the dumb sonsabeyochs get it....

The 5-4 thing bugs me, too. Yeah, I'll take the win, but the fact that it was so close makes me uneasy. I mean, what's on the block next?

Daley should be worried, 15 minutes after the ruling the NRA filed lawsuit against Chicago and I think LA about their gun laws.

One of the most liberal, democrate strangle hold states is Michigan yet we have gun laws that republicans and the NRA love.

Just look at Michigan for what gun owning citizens can do for crime statistics.

They even just signed into law by our democrat governor a law that gives more protection to people who use a gun to protect themselves. It's almost impossible for a criminal to sue a person for shooting them in self-defense and it's almost impossible to try and charge a person with shooting in self-defense with a crime.

This is a very small win. Watch the Daley regime comply. There will be a forty-two page application for a handgun license. There will be a large fee that must be paid in person. There will be one guy taking those fees between one PM and three PM, the third Tuesday of every month. Each page of the application must be singed in front of the clerk.

I thought of you when I saw the Chicago mayor idiot on the news this morning. My husband about blew a gasket. What an A-Hole! I am very glad we don't live there.....
