I first watched television in 1949. I built a television from a kit. I repaired televisions in high school. Asides from Phoenix Suns games I watch it about an hour a week.

I worked on vacuum tube computers. I have written countless lines of code over the last 45 years. I have no idea what the popular fads in electronics are about.

The modern marvels are distractions. It is important to know these things if your paycheck depends upon it. Otherwise they a bright baubles that obscure the meanings in life.

I am glad that McCain is a serious hombre. I am sure that he knows how to hire a keypunch operator if he needs one.
