Clark does not know it yet but he just committed himself to the dustbin of history.

I saw on another blog a prediction that "another bus incident" was coming.

a pampered, private school-attending "community activist."

Not to quibble, but:

a) They both attended private prep schools. Interestingly, they had similarly unstable earlier school years, bouncing around the globe.

b) In addition to his remarkable academic record, Obama is also an attorney and spent a decade as a professor of Constitutional Law at one of the most prestigious, intense law schools in the nation. But since belittling the opposition is an essential part of a website like this, I understand the phrasiology.

c) Given the hurdles they've both had to overcome, I'm not quite sure how anyone could seriously refer to either of these hard-working, determined Americans as "pampered." If this campaign devolves into the usual despicable Personal Destruction-Fest, it won't be because of these two candidates themselves.

Yeah, you're right. Those prep schools and then Harvard sure is a "hurdle," especially when compared to a life in the military -- including a half-decade stint as a POW.

I am sure that in Prep school and Harvard that Obama had to put up with years of Hazing.

If Obama is still young enough for military service, I'd like to see him fly a jet aircraft or helicopter.
Perhaps join the Army and become a tank Commander.
After 2 years of combat, then he can transfer to JAG.
A year as military liaison in Israel would round out his experiences.

it's sad that such a bootlicking weasle as Clark was ever a General. He will say anything to please his masters.

4 years ago he was saying hte exact opposite, how John J'n Kerry's junior millitary service made him the perfect candidate for president.
