Comments: They're Not the Family Circus I Grew Up With

Yep there are always kids around like this. The "good" thing (I guess it could be called good) is that you can use them as a learning tool. Such as "if I EVER hear you saying stuff like that you'll never speak again..." that kind of thing.

My kids were pretty snotty at home even though they didn't get away with it. Other parents would tell me how polite they were which always floored me. LOL.

That happened at Lacrosse last night. I was talking to one of the Mom's that runs the Lacrosse organization and she said, "Oh! You are Bones Mom! I LOVE YOUR SON! He is so polite. I mean polite as in when I was leaving he actually said to me, "It was a pleasure to meet you Mrs. C."" Heh. I laughed and said, "I'm happy to hear that because he surely wasn't like that today at home!"

If my kids are going to act out let it be at home.

What Teresa said. Hold them up as bad examples in front of your kids and make sure they understand that kind of behavior will get your own in deep kaka. "I can't touch those kids, but YOU GUYS I can kill..."

Bou - It is sad to say that your well behaved boys are the exception rather than the rule. It speaks highly of your parenting skills.

As my Dad used to say " I'll just beat all of your butts and that way I know I've gotten the right one". I guess my Dad was a Muslim, huh?

I must concur with Denny. You have AWESOME kids...polite and hysterically funny (Bones, in particular, is a scream -- I could relate to him on a million different levels).
