I know two sisters (identical twins) who do something similar. One plays rhythm , one plays lead...then they would swap up. Funny thing about these twins...they knew exactly what each other was thinking, and not just about music. One of 'em was my girlfriend. I just knew one of 'em better than the other...I think. They were 1000% identical.

That was lovely. I saw, only once, my Great Aunt Sylvia and Cousin Steve, a mother and son (they are both gone now), play together on an old upright. I believe they nailed a Scott Joplin / Ragtime tune and it was definitely a magical moment.

I never quite got piano. I knew how to pick out a few tunes by ear (specifically, the theme from Mozart's 40th Symphony, and Bach's Little Fugue in G Minor), but I could never grasp the right and left hand coordination thing.

To me, it is such an intellectual instrument.
