Comments: Happy Place Part II

.... what a group of troopers!.... just look at that snow!...

Gosh, that "other woman" has all her weight on her down hill ski ... and the downhill leg is straight (unbent) ... the uphill ski is riding flat on the snow (no edge) ... she is totally out of control. Ug.

The picture of you all at the top of "Why Not" is glorious. Looks like you had a great time.

Love the boys outside in the snow.

By the way, Ringo is definitely catching you in height.

I know I'm supposed to be looking at the other dorky woman in the one pic, but the first thing that jumps right out is how comfortable your son looks on skis. Like he was born on them and has been skiing his entire life. ROFLMAO.

Wonderful pictures; they really capture the feeling of fun... I can see why this would be one of your happy places. ;)

Eric- They were like frickin' puppies. They had such a great time.

Thomas- You sound like my ski instructor. What a riot! She would fall to the left and catch herself and then fall to the right and her arms would pinwheel. I just sat in the snow watching it. Mr. T said, "Did you even get ONE good picture of me without that woman falling?" I actually got MORE pictures of him because of it. I was very cognizant her clown show was blocking him.

They've all grown in that month now and Ringo is 1 inch shorter than I am now. Good grief. He bends down a bit so I can kiss his forehead. T just leans into me now...

Teresa- They were so comfortable. They were still kind of wedgy. I only get all wedgy when I'm tired and they're still working on getting out of the wedge, but there is no fear. It was as if they were born to ski.

Pam- It is a big happy place for me. Tonight's happy place is kind of funny... a bit odd.

Great photos Bou it looks like a blast! Hope that life ceases to be so hectic for you and settles down soon!

Heh. you have a way to go to catch me. I've run into a tree, gone over a snowbank into someone's yard in three feet of snow(they had a nice hot tub but it was covered up.), broken a ski, and broken an outrigger. You're already a better skier than I am.

Mr T's form is perfect. Look at those bended knees!

That woman had no business skiing that slope.

Now that's fun! Except maybe the part about catching a pine tree between the legs...oooweee.

Yeah. . . glad you aren't a guy? I have a pretty good idea of how that feels. . .

Just think, if you had packed 'em, and stayed maybe a week longer, they'd be up to running around in shorts and flip flops

Your poor boy didn't get hit by that idiot, did he? Cause that looks like a head on collision just waiting to happen. Excellent form on his part though.

If you ever go back, I suggest trying out the ski blades. They're really short skis, which allows for really tight turns and better maneuverability.
