Comments: The Insanity of it All

Please tell me the snow's not coming to Georgia. I'm just now fighting the beginning of a cold, and another radical swing in the weather may send me over the edge.

I love snow... from mid November to the end of March.

After that I get pissed, and I live in Northern Illinois for crying out loud.

Snow in Georgia is Mother Nature screaming at us that Gore is wrong.

Well, at least you arrived with the full headcount. And that's a good thing, right?

You can sit next to me in the been there done that want to strangle children meetings.

My son did the same thing. We were on a 10 day multi-state camping road trip from Florida to PA. Luckily, his brother wore about the same size and he had packed extra. But, we still ended up having to wash more often and find a Wal-Mart.

And Bob is right, headcount is extra important. Same child, same trip almost got left in the middle of nowhere TN next to a stream we stopped at to play in. We had two vehicles as we were traveling with my sister and her family. The boys kept playing musical vehicles. Walkie-talkies are wonderful. They kept the child from being left.

Have a great time on your vacation.

does he need clean clothes?
doesn't one of your kids not mind wearing the same clothes on camping trips?

Dave- Not in the ATL area, but its going to be cold enough to.

Grau- I have no patience for April snow. April is for flowers and cool weather.

Bob- The silver lining! Yes. We have the right headcount, although I will say, it is tempting as hell to lose one.

Sticks- He has a brother that wears close to the same and Mo had some tshirts that were his size. I'm trying to figure out how Mo fit the casabas in that shirt... if my 9 year old is wearing it.

Writersblock- There are some clothes he'll wear over, like his jeans, but I'm forcing him to change his clothes every day.;-)

Monday AND Tuesday we are suppose to get snow showers and top out at 35 degrees.

I blame the old people, they have ventured back north and mother nature always has to remind them why they left.

You mean you Florida folks travel during that day?!?!?! ThAT is the problem, Georgia folks travel at night. Hehehehe......... :>)

Flam's Dad- Hey, if driving at night is the key, we'll drive at night next time!!!

QW- Oddly enough, we noticed that the Michiganders were on their way home already when we were driving. I-75 was FILLED with plate from the MidWest. NE folks that take I-95, tend not to leave until AFTER Easter. Very odd.
