Comments: Baby's First Walk in the Cold

49 degrees? Oh my! But really that's not so bad. If we hadn't reset the thermometers with the clocks, that would be like 59 degrees, right?

Oh, ok... that's like 24.5 in Wisconsin degrees...

She was probably the most comfortable one in the group, Bou! Now the babies I feel sorry for are German babies in the summertime. German people have this strange idea that drafts of any sort cause illness. Flowing air makes them uptight. So they shut windows tight, bundle up children, and are not at all big into air conditioning. I wonder how many of those poor kids suffer from heat stroke each year. My sister-in-law worked in an office in Germany for two years, and the people she worked with would always close the window and unplug her fan when she wasn't looking. She said it was stiflingly warm and they liked it like that!

My wife swore it was snowing on her way home from work this morning. Even though the radar didn't show anything.

When I went out to get the paper this AM it was snowing. Snow in April! In Atlanta! Damn that global warming!
