Comments: Someone Forgot to Tell ME!

Eeek! Be careful. That's one way that identity thieves can steal your identity. One of my ex boyfriends looked into how to do this once. Needless to say why he's an ex!

You should definitely check your credit record, and also your bank statements....especially if you do any kind of banking on line.

It was some genealogy site... it had my entire family for generations. It was actually by a group I'd heard of... so I wasn't so alarmed. Just thought it odd, they had me dead.

But my husband has our credit checked all the time. His business partner had his identity stolen and it's been a disaster.

I'd like to go missing for about a year, just so I could catch up on the backlog of crap that needs to be done around here.

Well, if it actually got you out of a bunch of work that would be fun. But just being declared dead with none of the - ahem - "perks"... just ain't right.

Thanks. Now you have me Googling your maiden name to see where you died.
