Comments: Gratuitous Nats Posting (TM) - "Calling Down The Thundah" Division

You'll note I've never offered to bet on the outcome of the series, primarily because you most likely would not let me bet on the Nats to take it.

This is the Brewer's traditional slump to the end of the season. Given that the Nats play six or seven more games against us before the end of the season, they may indeed beat the 100 loss bogey.

Actually, I think you have higher expectations of the Nats in the series than I do. Our offense isn't usually as powerful as it was last night and I couldn't help noticing how big and scary a lot of the Brewer players looked.

Also, John Lannan can't pitch every night, and you never know what you're going to get with the rest of our starting rotation (to say nothing of our bullpen).

3rd NL player to hit 2 grand salamis in one game, and the 13th overall. Apparently, the double grand slam is ever rarer than the perfect game.
