Note to self: bring the Mrs. when toilet shopping.

Posted by Harvey at November 7, 2009 11:54 PM have a toilet that is ready for you when you have to have hip replacement surgery! When my Dad had his, he had to get and extender seat to make the toilet taller....but you're all set!

And when it comes to all that stuff that accumulates in the medicine cabinet and under the sink....where the heck does that stuff come from!?! I've moved 3 times in the last 4 years, and EVERY time I have a boat load of useless stuff to throw out. And all those little makeup bags....what to do? I always feel like it's too wasteful to throw them out, and maybe I'll find a use for them someday....but so far, they are just taking up major space. Oy!

Anyway...for the time being, I'm jealous of your newly renovated bathroom, but my guess is, it won't be to long before it looks like mine! Good luck!

Bronze the pacifiers and hang them on your Christmas tree ... after he has grown up and left the house ;)

I had the same problem with our new toilet.. and I'm a big girl! Our old toilets were so low that placing my feet flat was no problem... but with the new one just the balls of my feet touch.

Funny thing is, now I like that one better. You never know. ;)

I cleaned out the bathroom cabinet not too long ago, and was similarly aghast at the age of some of the finds.

Almost empty bottles of drug store cologne, untouched since high school. English Leather, Polo, Stetson, Aramis, scents I wouldn't wear on a dare these days...

A jumbo bottle of ibuprofen, bought from Sam's Club back in 1998, still sealed.

A bottle of sulfur powder bought in 1989, meant for dusting on socks to keep the chiggers off at Boy Scout summer camp.

Cleaning kits and brushes & accessories for the 4 mustache/beard trimmers I've bought and burned out since I grew the goatee back in 1995.

Kinda like an archaeological dig, really!

And yes, I've debated shaving the goatee...

So proud of you for getting rid of so much.I'm looking forward to hearing about the closet clean out- no telling what's in there. We need pictures of that!
Oh and you get used to your feet dangling. You feel like a little girl when you start swinging your feet- keeps ya young!

My m-i-l's house had those feet dangled there if I sat relaxed...which is what you're supposed to do, right?

I want a short toilet.
