Comments: My Canned Response to Those Who Asked

Actually, in recent years there's a bit of a renaissance going on in Irish cuisine. Lots of new takes on old classics, embracing the haute cuisine possibilities in things the Irish accepted with resignation -- all that fresh seafood, F'rinnstance. Bobby Flay, who annoys the BeJAYzus out of me, nonetheless did a great show on it a couple years back.
