Come, sit on the beach with me. You can tell me all about it. Or we can sit in complete silence. You need to get out of that vortex, if only for a morning. I am related to five versions of crazy on both sides, but I can only imagine being in the direct line of fire like you have been. Come, sit. Breathe. Any day, any time. And, selfish as it sounds, thank you for sharing. One never knows when the memory of your trials will come back to help us. Blessings to you, friend!

Oh, boy...we went through hell with my ex-FIL. He had severe Parkinson's and was put on amantadine and he went totally and completely bonkers while in the hospital. It was like pulling teeth to get his primary doc to "see the light", so to speak. He insisted it was merely confusion from being in unfamiliar surroundings. What a mess.

This kind of thing happens more often than you'd ever believe possible. I'm so sorry you had to live through it. Families catch the brunt of the behavior. *sigh*
