Comments: Oops!

You know what the running joke is in the house?

Ringo: Dad, so when you see "do you want to override your WAN, what do YOU do?"

Husband: NO! NEVER say yes!

Ringo and Husband: Bwahahahahaa.

Nice. I'm at the library. Your grandson had a case of the DTs with nothing to read, so I figured I'd hop on.

This is why you write down everything about the configuration of your router (especially the forced MAC address) to that you can take it off-line, do a hard reset, and re-configure it from scratch.

Or switch from the old router that got fried by lightning last night to the backup wifi router. Stickman must have his World of Warcraft!!!

Ah - fun with networking. Well, at least a visit from a friendly geek will cure it. In my world - I am the friendly geek. So when I break things I have to tear my hair out trying to fix them. heh.

Of course last week I was working on repairing our email and dns servers at work which was just a freakin' delight I can tell you. I even wrote an incomprehensible (to non-geeks) rant about error messages on my blog. It's my little effort to drive off the few remaining readers I have.

Hope you're back up and running soon.
