No sleep last night. Oldest had bad dreams again. Ugh.

I feel for you; I have episodes of insomnia too. I try to be positive and use it as "found time" and bury myself in a good book.

And hope that I am so exhausted the next evening that I will sleep like the dead. ;)

I am out as soon as I hit the pillow, but I think the last few nights must have been too warm to sleep well. I hate waking up feeling groggy, headachy, and overly warm.

Have you tried lowering the temperature in your room?

Cooler bedroom. Some low, soothing noise like a fan. Read a book. Relaxation videos and music on Youtube. A good massage. All tricks that I have used with some success.

Two glasses of Sierra Mist with Raspberry Rum. You'll sleep like a baby. No, wait, scratch that...babies wake up at midnight...then 2:00 AM...then 4:0 AM....Nah, better make it two shots of Crown.

I have people that assume I suffer from insomnia since I average about 4 hours of sleep a night. Consistently.
If I get six hours of sleep, wow! That's like utopia for me.

But it doesn't bother me that I do not sleep much.
I go to bed when tired, I get up when I wake. It's my normal rhythm.

Grau likes to say I vibrate at a higher frequency than most and my ambient energy level is set to 'stun' most people. LOL

Sometimes the pain and a racing mind keep me awake. When that happens a take a single ambien. 8 good hours of sleep without fail. It's taken me 2 years to go through 30 pills so it doesn't happen often but when it does, taking the pill is like raising the drawbridge, pulling the blinds and finding morning at the other end.
