Comments: Qadaffi Dead (or not?)... But what next?

"But what will we face now?"

And why did we commit American treasure and prestige (thankfully, luckily, not blood) without a clue as to the answer to this question?

"Because the Only Good Progressive is a Failed Progressive"

It is amazing how a bunch of ragtag rebels with no discernible organization (except air support from the largest most modern military alliance on the planet) can overthrown a firmly entrenched tyrant that started this war with total control of the government and military.

There. Fixed it.

Maybe a lesson for us as well? I myself have been feeling a bit ragtag lately. ;-)

Of all the Arabs who went to Iraq to fight along side of 'Al-Qaeda in Iraq' the largest contingent (per capita) were from Libya. Bear in mind that Libya has a tiny population, and you can see the significance. We have not the slightest idea of the agenda of the rebels should they seize control of Libya. Are we helping jihad crazies take control of an oil rich nation sitting across the Mediterranean from the soft underbelly of Europe?
