I was 'ringo' to my mom. I can't tell you the number of times I waited until that day to tell my mom I needed something for school. But it drives me crazy when my kids do it to me. ;-)

LOL! That sounds so familiar!

We are homeschooling, and this is the youngest son's second year of involvement with a speech and debate club. This year I also convinced the middle son to sign up at least for speech.

Every week, they are given an assignment. This time they are supposed to write an introduction to a persuasive speech. It is due Tuesday. So tonight the youngest son starts interrogating me about his brother's progress on his assignment. "Has he started on it yet?" "Are you going to make sure he finishes it?" So I turned it back on him: "Have YOU started yet? Am I going to have to light a fire under YOU? Why don't you tend to your own business and not worry about your brother?"

To which I got this response:"I am an established member of the club. If he doesn't get his work done, it will reflect poorly on me!"
