Comments: It Runs in the Family- It Came from Dad

I can testify that quilt is baby-ready, and oh so soft too!

I second Jerry - having seen it in person. It's a gorgeous little quilt.

Oh and I'm like that about birthdays. I can remember our anniversary (although seldom the correct number of years) but birthdays... they baffle me. LOL.

Dates and I don't mix well... not sure who I got that from... probably my mom... if it is not on her calendar she doesn't remember it!

aside from being able to remember because we got married on Halloween, I remember because the numbers appealed to me: 103103 That's the only reason I can recall the year.

pretty quilt!

The pinwheels were the challenge in this quilt. I'd not done pinwheels.

You know what's crazy? I look at these pictures and the top one, the baby, I swear, looks like I did when I was a baby. And Flambina? She has my hair when I was a little girl.

It's a beautiful quilt! If I posted pictures of any of my adventures in quilting, you'd notice they are all squares... for a reason. Well with a couple of exceptions, but the exceptions show the reason I went back to squares. I guess squares and I mix but triangles hate me. I think you did a fabulous job not only with the shapes but with the different types of fabric!
