Comments: Time, Family, and Decisions

Twenty years isn't bad. Keep going!!11!! You're only a third of the way to your diamond anniversary.

With all your kids, don't forget that the Florida CC system is designed as a feeder to the Universities.

Thomas- Yeah, I ahve told him about the CC system. He just doesn't want to go that route. It is unfortunate because I think it is a GREAT route. Bones will go that route for sure...

Yeah, I just can't get over it. It's like I blinked, my kids are almost grown, and we've been married 20 years. Holy crap.

Time flies when you're having fun, happy anniversary!

Happiest of Anniversaries! Just think, if I was married to the same man I would be WAY past you. ;-)

Happy Anniversary! :-)

That's a pretty cool deal the tour of schools. I like it! I'm glad he gets a chance to see so many and then make a choice. We all do the same thing... hear about a place from others and are very excited only to find once we get there, it's just not "us" - what a letdown. So happy he's finding this the easy way. I'm sure once he gets to college, he'll be very happy, even if it's not what he thought he wanted at first.

LOL about the quilt.

If he goes to UCF, I'll have him over for a nice, home-cooked meal whenever he wants. :)

Speaking of touring the schools ... We visited Michigan Tech (Houghton-Handcock on the Portage) as part of our eldest's tour.

On the way up we visited around the U-P seeing waterfalls and such.

We drove straight home from Houghton so that she would understand how far from home she would be.

Turns out it wasn't necessary as she was not impressed with the school. Just as well as she opted out of Engineering in her sophomore year (after she had finished Diff Eqs and Organic Chem) and switched to History.

As a point of information, Houghton is the same distance from our house as Vanderbilt is in Nashville. Choices .. choices.
