Comments: Ringo's Take on the ACT

"It was like, "You have three apples and I have four oranges, how many pancakes does it take to shingle an igloo? And the answer is purple because ice cream melts in the Fall..."

OMG! That has to be the best sentence I have ever heard in my life!! Your boy will go far. Seriously...that is a classic.

And it came out of his mouth, just like if you and I were talking about the weather. There was no thinking, stuttering, pausing. Just flowed right out...

This coming from the boy that nailed the writing section of the SAT with a 750. Too bad the colleges don't care about that...

Anyone that could come up with something like that right off the top of his head should be given a waiver from the ACT. He'll have no problem making it through college.

I didn't realize that colleges looked at the ACT much any more. I thought most of them used the SAT as part of their admissions screening. It's been so long since I took it that I can't even remember what the ACT was like, but I love that description your son gave!
