So - he wants $160 billion a year in more taxes. I love how they say 1.6 trillion over 10 years, instead of what it is per year.

He then wants to make some vague promises of some cuts later. I wish to remind others, he made the
of $400 billion in cuts to medicare.

First off - that works for him because he wants to manuver,, bit by bit for a single payer system, and cutting all other programs while adding funding to Obama-care is his game.

But, that said - when Obama-care was being passed he made the **EXACT SAME PROMISE** and then promptly let it go and our compliant press never followed up on how he never was held to account for it.

Oh, and THEN he wants "Dictator-for-life" power to raise the debt ceiling whenever he wants.

Um, CONGRESS is the one that controls the purse strings - but they have happily abdicated that RESPONSIBILITY by letter entitlements run on auto-pilot for years, and the senate hasn't passed a budget in 4 years.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

If they're "comparable" then why not switch them? A trillion dollars in spending cuts for $400 Billion in new taxes. I'd go for that.
