Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I had one guest at my wedding that could sing like that. And I had...what... 200 people?

that's a weird wedding!

The concert is closer to what I remember from HS - only singing memorized music.

Wow 13 guys vs 27 girls. And standing intermixed at that.

We had 35 basses and tenors against 45 sopranos and altos (one girl sung tenor). Good sized school with a fairly competitive music program.

The Les Miz performance was excellent. Great acoustics, great voices. Wow. I wish my voice was still in the kind of shape to handle a room that size.

I also found the you tube at "Zm-kzn5oROY" of the two young ladies playing Stairway to Heaven on grand pianos. Excellent.

I couldn't see their hands that well, but it looked like my Great Aunt would have approved of their posture.

You need to read this at Bones' wedding. hehe

Writersblock- Crazy, eh?

Thomas- Bones has always memorized his music and so I'm wondering why they haven't. I wonder if they just have so much music coming at them that they don't have time for certain gigs? I thought that was odd.

Bones is settling into a Baritone. It dropped really low for awhile and now has moved up a few notes. And I don't think his voice will every be strong enough to carry a room that size. I may be wrong... he has a strong voice... but THOSE voices were really strong!

Pammy- Oh trust me, I thought of that! I cannot wait to hear his take in a few years and remind him of this!

Poor Bones - too bad he doesn't quite understand yet that the "dread" of something is generally far far worse than what actually happens. LOL.

I'm guessing the wedding singers are all part of some sort of group, very likely a stage performing group. Very nicely done!

So, I read this to my youngest son who is one year older than Bones. He said, "Hmm. Sounds like he is a good kid." So there you go. Not strange - a "good kid"!
