Comments: Gays are different, but not in the way you think

Just to clarify: Your question is, basically, if a gay guy can be a scoutmaster, why can't a straight guy be a girl scout leader? Correct me so I know if I'm wrong, then I'll tell you if I agree with you or not. :)

So is your question basically: If a gay guy can be a boy scout leader, why can't you or I, as heteros, be girl scout leaders?

Aye, sorry. Your server did something weird.

Regarding the military thing...I guess I don't fully understand the question, or its importance. Isn't it just a matter of it being a small minority? When you go to the gym, is it really worth it (or fiscally wise) to have, like, 6 sets of locker rooms to cover all potential gender and sexual matchups? Or do we just understand that there might be a dude in there who's gay, and get on with our day?

dan: from what I've read, men can be Girl Scout leaders, but they should never be in the company of the girls w/o a female present. And, it also says that if there is a male leader it requires [an adult] female as well.

As for the military, I said openly gay personnel. That makes all the difference regarding barracks.
