You got a haircut and ... six males didn't notice ... is this supposed to be a surprise?

Nobody notices my haircuts either.

The gray disappears when the fuzzy parts are trimmed on the side of my head and I look 10 years younger.

No problem.

Thomas- I know! Right? Not one guy noticed. Why I would think differently is beyond me. Good grief.

I had 3-4 inches cut off in places.

Still... nobody in this household has noticed.

Very astute observation from your eldest about college sociology courses. Hope he understands that his grade is directly affected by how well they perceive him buying into their BS...

My husband never notices, either. Claims he's not looking that high..

Thank the good Lord you gave that young man a good base and the tools to spot b.s. or he'd have a brain of mush soon...!

LOL - I would have been surprised had they noticed and said something.

I'm with your son, could never ever comprehend sociology. Never. However I used to listen to a radio show with Milt Rosenberg on WGN radio. Milt had a show on the station for 40 years - 5 nights a week for 2 hours a night... amazing man. Now he does podcasts posted to his own website. He is a retired Doctor of Social Psychology and probably the best interviewer I have ever heard (or he was back in the day - I only just found out about his website!). He's the only one who ever made me think that Sociology might be an actual real type of study. ;)

Agreed. Men do not notice haircuts. Or color.

And agreed with the sociology bs. I just had the class last semester. Luckily, I like the prof, hated the class. So I was a bit more....indirect....in my hatred of the subject.
One of her 'assignments' was to write a paper on the three major players of sociology. I managed to throw in the sentence, 'All three major players have been deceased for decades and thus no new so-called 'breakthroughs' have occurred in sociology for some time.'

She knew where I stood on the subject. And believe it or not, we still got along well. So long as I did the work.
I managed to get a "B" in the class.
It must have been my 'sparkling' personality.
