Comments: Odd Conversations from the Halls of Public High Schools

Sad, sad, sad. Children having children. I trust that you raised your boys to understand that there is something seriously wrong with such a state of affairs.

Yet they aren't even taught how to use a checkbook and pay for college while still in high school. Oy...the kids these days!

Why, back in my day, we had to walk uphill in the snow both ways and.... (heh!)

So where were these children's parents AFTER they had the first kid???? WTF????

Mrs. Who. That area of Palm Beach County is known for children having children. The fact he goes to school with Bones is because he is bussed in... due to the fact it's an Arts school. Otherwise, Bones would never have met the young man.

The crazy thing is... there is a parent somewhere, paying serious attention to the boy at least because he IS in the art school. You don't get into the art school unless someone somewhere noticed something and put some time and effort, in particular because... the kid dances.

Wow. Just Wow. A KID has TWO kids??!!! Agree with Mrs. Who - where in the H*** are the parents???!!!

And I'd be willing to bet that kid got into art school because someone else OTHER than his parents noticed his talent and are trying to help him break the cycle.

That is seriously messed up.

Maybe a grandparent helped him get into the school because sounds like the parents checked out long ago...

Of course, that's just an assumption and the truth could be very different.
