Comments: Part I of V (I think): Discovery and Irrationality

This needs to be submitted to a parenting magazine. :)

It would require extensive editing. I read it now and see phrases I overused and tense issues. But it was a casual email I was sending out, a complete stream of consciousness...

It seems like yesterday.

It was only a decade ago, so it was just yesterday.

I remember when you posted it the first time. I'm laughing and still slightly horrified all over again.

I totally don't get why you wouldn't tell your husband, but yet you would tell your neighbor, dad, and friends? I'm just the opposite: I confide everything in my husband...things that I would never tell my dad or friends. He is my confidant, my most intimate partner. I often hear of women hiding things from their husbands, but I completely don't get that.

I just didn't feel like taking any crap from him. Simple.

I don't really confide much in anyone about anything. I come across much more open here than I really am. It works for us. Every relationship is different and I don't bother trying to understand someone else's. People do what works for them amd after 22 years we know us.
