Comments: Part V of V (excluding the conclusion): It's NOT a Mouse!!!

I do feel your pain. Many years ago I lived in a converted warehouse. Due to construction/demolition in the area, all the buildings near me, including mine, suddenly had a rat problem.

I thought I only had one, since I had seen only one. But my neighbors advised me to set multiple traps, so I did.

The next morning, I woke to six dead rats. Holy...you know what...

The next day we caught 5 more. And so on...

It took a good long time, during which I was fortunate enough to be able to be out of town for the most of, but finally the plague ended. We got about 20 or more. Ugh!

But damn, those things are resourceful and almost endowed with super human powers...able to squeeze through spaces smaller than the eye of a needle...able to practically crawl upside down on pipes and across ceilings.

After all that, mice are nothing to me. But rats...ackkkkk!!!

I am loving this Retrospective Adventure Tale... and at the same time, I am more than just a little skeeved out. I have my own dead rat story, and this brings back memories...

DDP- No, what you had was WORSE. Many rats is far worse than my trying to find ONE rat in a car. Ugh.

And they bother me because they seem dirty and they can get into anything. *shudder*

Ellison- Retrospective Adventure Tale. Heh
