"It's odd when a neighborhood ages..."

In a couple years you'll start seeing all their kids.

Yep... my oldest didn't want to trick or treat last night. I was sad.

That's when I know I've been in one place too long.

Love the costume and pumpkins!

I would have loved sitting outside Bone's school just watching all the costumes. I'm not creative in the least, nor do I particularly want to wear a costume, but I love seeing what other people come up with. LOL.

You have a wonderfully creative family! Love the pumpkins. :)

Our youngest son would have trick-or-treated until he was 30 if we hadn't stopped him. I told him when your voice changes and you have facial hair and are 6 feet tall, people won't find you cute - and they might even find you frightening! I tried to take the sting out of it by making him up a bag of candy, and we spent the evening playing board games and watching movies. All in all, I think it turned out pretty well. But it was "different" ... and I admit I will miss the childhood excitement as well.
