Merry Christmas

That photo is awesome!! Laughter and time with the family is the best gift of all . . .

I completely understand your musings regarding what Christ would/is? thinking now. You are not alone in that thoughtful contemplation.

On another note . . . Once you posted about your reindeer antlers, I started seeing them everywhere! Kept waiting for one to go flying . . closest one came was the mistletoe tinsel thing attached to each, whipping about in the breeze, and about to come loose . .and in WY (while driving back from my parents ranch) breeze = 35+ mph winds! ;-)

I LOVE the photo!

I love your Christmas card, but it will take some explaining about where the other two boys are.

You will note that that is NOT me in the middle even if my girth is approaching that. I am not gray enough and by the time that I am, I will probably be bald.

Many people here in the great white north are still without power from last weekend's ice storm. The current outages follow a line from Plainwell through Lansing to Flint. Right now 55,000 people across Michigan are without power.

We only lost power for three hours on Monday so that the trees could be trimmed off of the lines.

That was after a minor explosion Sunday night where an icy tree limb grounded one of the primary lines, blowing up the tree limb.

It occurred on the other side of our street, but the fireball was so big, we though it was in our backyard.

Thank you, Pam, and to you all as well!

VW- I know your boys had a blast. I can't wait to hear about it!

Nina- Geez. If we did not laugh, we'd go insane here. And not in a good way. Oh and my eldest son is telling me that he is seeing reindeer antlers everywhere on SUVs of my color in particular. I had a guy stop me in a parking lot on Christmas Eve and say, "Your car, it is very Chic with those horns." He had a French accent (for real) and cracked me up.

Peggy- Very collegiate! ;-)

Thomas- I had no idea you all were STILL without power in parts of that area! Holy crap! It's bad in the summer after a hurricane, but it's flat dangerous in that cold weather.
