If Wendy Davis were a conservative and Greg Abbott a liberal, she wouldn't have gotten away with mocking his paraplegia. It'd be all over the news and liberals would be wondering where civility has gone or something. What she said was disgusting. It's not surprising that she fabricated her background to make herself look better. She's following in the footsteps of Obama and Elizabeth Warren. I really hope Texans do not elect this repulsive creature as governor.

Cuomo is a moron, too. I would live in New York, and I don't blame anyone for wanting to get out of that progressive hellhole. I won't go to New York as long as he's in power there. It's ironic that he made the anti-conservative comments at a time when New York is putting out commercials asking businesses to come there. Come there for what? To be taxed out of business? That's why they leave New York to places like Florida or Texas.

I meant to say, "wouldn't" live in New York.

Sorry for the third comment, but I have more to add. My home state of Minnesota is slowly becoming a progressive hellhole like New York, with the much-larger conservative portion of the state having their voices drowned out by Twin Cities-based progressives and the college towns. They elected a governor with a history of mental illness and who has never worked a day in his life (Mark Dayton), a member of the Nation of Islam (Keith Ellison) and a so-called "comedian" who hasn't lived in MN for years. Companies that were founded here like Greyhound Bus and Honeywell have moved to different states (Texas and New Jersey, respectively) because of the outrageous taxes here.

Hell, at times my folks have explored the possibility of leaving Minnesota behind for somewhere else. I know I've thought about it, even I lack the money at the moment.

Yep Carl, the issue really is the media. If a Republican had done/said what Davis and Cuomo did, it'd be the biggest political donneybrook since, well, let's do a Chris Matthews re: Chris Christie and say "WATERGATE!!"

Indeed. It'd be all over the news for weeks if that were the case. The Chris Christie "scandal" is a diversion designed to deflect attention away from the real scandals, such as the botched Obamacare rollout and of course, the Davis/Cuomo controversies.

Wendy Davis is an angel, and Andrew Cuomo is a straight shooter who tells it like it is. That Conservatives have launched a kill-campaign against them is evidence that they are running scared.

Either Progressive is [legitimately] mocking Davis and Cuomo, or he/she is really one lunk-headed individual. Thanks for the laughs at any rate!

LOL!!!! Thanks for the chuckle, Progressive! Now back to the Lost Kos or Democratic Underground where you belong.
