Sadly, name recognition seems to trump actual qualifications in politics. It's kind of like MN electing Mark Dayton (his money comes from the now-def, who has never worked a real job in his life and has a history of mental illness, or Amy Klobuchar (daughter of a local newspaper reporter) or Al Franken (who didn't even live in MN to begin with). None of them were qualified, and yet idiots voted them anyway.

Didn't Beau Biden once utter something like "I tried Tens of Cases?"
