Comments: SF Babes Weekly Poll (Odd Women Out)

Hey John, I know it's not as easy, since it isn't visual, but what about babes from SF books? Who's hotter, DeeTee Burroughs, Melissa von Alderheim or Clarissa MacDougal, for example. Bonus points if you know who the author/book is!

How about a Whedonverse babe poll? You could take the winner of Firefly and put her against: Buffy, Cordie, Anya, and Fred.

The choice here's reaaal simple: It is time for total truth between us, so I choose Robin Curtis' Lieutenant Saavik. Bald is bad, and so is enough eye shadow to dwarf Katherine Harris' look. The only babe candidate in TFF was the anonymous yeoman played by Melanie Shatner, if I remember right.

Since the blog's been busted for quite some time, there won't be a voter guide. Alas, the world weeps, I'm sure.

As for babes from sci-fi books, my money's on Shannon Foraker, at least the way Weber had her described as of the late 1990s.

How about Teri Garr?

Jeff: Check out the Gallery. Teri Garr won the December 7, 2004 weekly poll against Joan Collins. I've been thinking about a "best of" poll at some point, and that time may be rapidly approaching, so Teri might run again.
