Comments: Still Got Some Sand In My Shoes

The high front sight and the odd muzzle fitting suggest - rifle grenade - to my untutored eye.

Let's see here. An "automatic" rifle with high-capacity "clip" for spraying bullets, "flash hider" for undetectable sniping, and bayonet-lug for, uh, bayonets, can mean only one thing:

You've got an assault weapon there.

By the way: welcome back!

Very good guess. Wrong, but very good guess nontheless.

You forgot the "tactical" sling that can be used to carry the rifle while taking a break from the slaughter & reading a Coulter/Limbaugh propoganda book.

& tanx - good to be back.

I'll give it a few more days to see if anyone else can figure out what deviltry I have pics of.

Since I've seen the rifle in question, any answer by me would be cheating.

Although that high cap mag looking thing is confusing.

The bottom one is a 10/22 that's been "garandized."

The first looks sort of like a garand with the open flash supressor and target sights. (Gas system and bayonet mount look right...)

The second might be another picture of the first... hmm... yeah, I think it is. Same dovetailed sight mount, possibly the same aperature, and it looks like there's the same flash supressor... hmm... that's one weird flash supressor... Maybe an old national match rifle?

Okay, I give up.
